Hi! Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!
My name is Becky (or better known as Miss Becky during the week)!
I’m an occupational therapist and enjoy using this platform as a way to share tips, tricks, encouragement, and more for OT students & practitioners! Keep reading to learn a little bit more about me!
I graduated from Misericordia University with my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in May 2019. I spent my first year as an OT in a combination of outpatient pediatrics, home health, and early intervention. Now, I’m an independent contractor for a school district and see students in grades K-12.
During my first year (+ a few months) as an OT, I’ve learned a lot-some good and some not-so-good. But I want to share everything because I think it is so important to be honest & transparent. I also want to share the things that no one told me as a student & new grad.
Some of my OT interests include: pediatrics, self-advocacy, entrepreneurship, and much more! I love learning about OT!
When I’m not eating, sleeping, and breathing OT, you can find me reading, shopping, blogging, sewing, and hanging out with friends & family.
I am more active over on instagram and you can find me at @beckyb.ot
